This luxury two storey home is a must see.
Situated among the hills of Rodney Heights,
it enjoys beautiful views of the Rodney Bay area and out to the
Caribbean Sea. The house is located at about the middle of the property
and was completed April 2000 and completely repainted December 2005. A
concrete driveway leads to it. The formal entrance to the house is on
the ground floor. It leads into the formal living and dining areas and
out to the long covered patio that extends out to the wooden deck. A
built-in bar located at the corner of the formal living area adds
convenience to entertaining. There is also a powder room. A door off the
formal dining area takes you into the 'family room’, which opens onto
the breakfast nook and the kitchen.
The kitchen is spacious with a large pantry
and laundry room adjacent. It
has Adobe walls (i.e. wavy finish), Mexican clays tiles on the floor
both in and out doors except for parquet floors in 3 bedrooms and
ceramic tile floors in. An
internal stairway from the family room leads up to the second floor.
On the second floor there is an informal
entrance to the house, a sitting area and 4 bedrooms each with ensuite
bathrooms, and 3 of the bedrooms have AC units. The master bedroom is
the largest of the 4 bedrooms and comes with a private sitting area, a
large walk in closet, a separate shower, double sink vanity and a 2
person Jacuzzi. Of the smaller bedrooms, one bathroom has a regular tub;
the other two bathrooms have showers.
A clay tile roof and drop ceilings with
decorative beams in the living areas are part of the many architectural
features of the property. Other
features are an 18,000 gallons water tank, solar water heater, and
fenced property with electronic gate at the entrance and retaining
walls. The garden is
landscaped and has a variety of fruit trees, some are: mango, avocado,
bananas, coconuts, grapefruit and lime.
There are drawn plans for a pool included.
